In the second half of November Mr. Ban Ki-moon (UN Secretary-General) and Ms. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka (Executive Director of UN Women) kicked off a special event entitled ‘Orange the World: Raise Money to end Violence against Women,’ commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November).

At the beginning of October the representatives of the Public Finance for Development (PFD) Programme travelled to Kiev to find out about the progress in the process of Public Finance Management reform (PFMR) ongoing in Ukraine.
