Development of civil society, the challenges of decentralization, the opportunities for development cooperation between Slovakia and Ukraine, as well as the Slovak experience from <strong>public administration reform<\/strong> were the main topics of the conference.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Approximately 40 participants from Slovakia and Ukraine discussed about the development of civil society, public administration reform and <strong>Slovak examples of these processes<\/strong> in Uzhgorod. During two panel discussions the representatives of state administration and local government, as well as NGOs\u2019 young leaders introduced their views on: an involvement to the reform process of their country, an urgency of Ukraine to participate in joint programs with neighboring countries and <strong>Slovakia&#8217;s readiness to cooperate in Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-706 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"898\" height=\"582\" data-id=\"706\" srcset=\"https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n.jpg 898w, https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n-600x389.jpg 600w, https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/12728975_1057496970974531_8637652059118697629_n-768x498.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 898px) 100vw, 898px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">The conference was<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">organized<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">by <\/span><span class=\"hps\">Carpathian Foundation<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">with the support of the Ministry of foreign and European affairs of the Slovak republic<\/span>, co-financed <span class=\"hps\">by SlovakAid<\/span>.
