{"id":767,"date":"2016-01-20T12:19:02","date_gmt":"2016-01-20T11:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/?p=767"},"modified":"2024-01-12T17:24:39","modified_gmt":"2024-01-12T16:24:39","slug":"new-publication-about-the-partnerships-between-slovakia-and-undp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/en\/2016\/01\/20\/new-publication-about-the-partnerships-between-slovakia-and-undp\/","title":{"rendered":"New publication about the partnerships between Slovakia and UNDP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results\u2019 publication \u201c<strong>Transitional experience: Delivering Development Aid the Slovak Way<\/strong>\u201d gives us an opportunity to learn more about the key aspects of <strong>two unique partnerships<\/strong> between Slovakia and UNDP: the Slovak-UNDP Trust Fund and the Public Finance for Development Programme.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>UNDP has been a partner to the Slovak government over two decades. Among the first instruments of the partnership was the <strong>Slovak-UNDP Trust Fund<\/strong>. The Trust Fund has prepared the conditions and dispatched professional Slovaks from a multitude of disciplines to share their skills in countries keen to engage with them in development cooperation initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Another key manifestation of UNDP\u2019s partnership with Slovakia as a donor is the <strong>Public Finance\u2028for Development <\/strong>Programme (PFD) led and financed by MF SR. The results of the programme are evident in Moldova and Montenegro as <strong>capacity in public finance management <\/strong>has substantially advanced in both countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SR-UNDP-results-publication-2009-2014.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-768\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-768 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SR-UNDP-results-publication-2009-2014.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"539\" height=\"675\" data-id=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SR-UNDP-results-publication-2009-2014.jpg 539w, https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SR-UNDP-results-publication-2009-2014-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/publicfinance.undp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SR-UNDP-results-publication-2009-2014-116x145.jpg 116w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 539px) 100vw, 539px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This publication provides an insight into the key aspects of these <strong>unique partnerships between Slovakia and UNDP<\/strong>: the Slovak-UNDP Trust Fund and the Public Finance for Development Programme.
