Thanks to the financial support of the Slovak-UNDP program “Public Finance for Development” three professionals from Moldova could attend the event that was held June 1-3 at the CEF in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This learning initiative focused on the budget process in line ministries.
Mrs. Viorica Neclea (Lead consultant at Budgetary and fiscal policy generalization and coordination Division, Budget Synthesis general Division of Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova), Angela Zagaiciuc (Consultant superior at Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova), Raisa Ghilan (Deputy head at Finances in education, culture and science Department of Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova) became active participants and contributors to the workshop on Budget Submissions of Line Ministries in Ljubljana. The workshop aimed at supporting finance officials of line ministries to carry out their tasks and at stimulating reflection on the merits of current procedures and how they could be improved.
