In February Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) is presenting the third country of its constituency. CEF people will promote Moldova and give opportunity to participants of their learning events, to share with them their experience with Moldovan culture. Interesting moments of this initiative (experiences connected with Moldova) will be published on social media channels.
Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) is international organization with the mission to support capacity development for finance officials in South East Europe through learning. CEF people work with their constituency to support their public financial management, tax policy and administration, and central banking reform efforts. They do this through innovative, participatory, and practical learning solutions. They combine topical expertise and in-depth knowledge of countries in the region with a good comprehension of how reforms take place.
CEF is our partner organization and we’ve been cooperating on several events related to PFD programme’s activities. Last year the participants from PFD programme’s partner country: Moldova were part of CEF training with focus on the budget process in line ministries. Our Slovak republic-UNDP program has financially supported the project for the Public Accountants Certification Training (PACT) in Montenegro in autumn 2015 and the activities will continue in year 2016.
